Biodegradation of polyethylene terephtalates

Hi netters,

I am looking for some literature about biodegradation of 
polyethylene-terephtalates. These substances are known
as very persistent plastics, but may someone have heard
about a method, like pretreatment by ozonisation.
Each pointer in the right direction will be highly appreciated.
