Campylobacter

Interesting idea.  I wonder what it is based on?  Maybe Campylobacters and
Vibrios have some similarities, but when you start to examine them at the
molecular level, they are not very closely related.  According to
comparisons of gene sequences, Vibrios and E. coli are more closely
related to each other than either is to Camplobacter.  For those
interested, Vibrios group with the gamma Proteobacteria along with E.
coli.
