Bartonella - Anaerobic ????

     Does anyone know or has anyone seen Bartonella henselae  (sorry about
the spelling) grow anaerobically? Specifically, in anaerobic blood culture
bottles. I understand it should grow in 5% CO2 but I am wondering if it
can grow anaerobically as well. Also, is it dangerous to work with as for
instance Brucella is. Should the organism be manipulated under a biosafety
cabinet?
