purifying Thiobacillus/Cyanobacteria

Sorry the two samples are from different sites 
Western Australia  and  Tasmania..
I seemed to have confussed a few persons. 

I have them both growing on solid medium but have
difficulties in seperating out contaminates
What method do you use??
