in early 1996 in the laboratory of Cheryl Kuske, Genomics and Structural
Biology Group, Life Sciences Division, Los Alamos National Laboratory.
An interdisciplinary group at Los Alamos National Laboratory (Los

response to climate change. The postdoctoral position is to expand
characterization of pinyon rhizosphere microorganism communities using
molecular techniques, and to investigate the effects of environmental
stress on interactions between the tree and its associated rhizosphere
bacteria and ectomycorrhizal fungi.
Candidates should have research experience in soil microbiology, and in
application of molecular techniques to microbial ecology. Applicants
