micro text recommendations?

Does anyone have a particularly favorite or un-favorite text for a general, 
upper-level, undergraduate microbiology course (includes a lab)?  There is 
a medical slant in the course, but it is not just a medical micro course.

What do people think of the new Prescott text?  How about the Zinsser text?
