		For a good review on the current research in the bacterial polymers 
called polyhydroxyalkanoates, you might look up the Canadian Journal of 
Microbiology, volume 41, supplement 1 (1995).  This is a synopsis of 
papers presented at the 4th International Symposium on Bacterial 
Polyhydroxyalkanoates in Montreal last year.  It includes a nice 
introduction reviewing progress in the field, and a number of papers 
pointing the various directions this research is headed.  The entire 
issue of the journal is devoted to PHS research.
