MicroGenie

Hi!
I've been using a sequence analysis software package called
MicroGenie for a few weeks now, and i find that it's hopelessly
outdated. The problem is, are there any other packages that do
equivalent things? Can they be downloaded? Is there a web site
that can help me do similar things? 

Any help and information given me will be *highly* appreciated.
