Should the A. tumefaciens strain LBA4404 clump

Hi folks,

I want to use the Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain LBA4404 to produce 
transgenic potatos.  I obtained some bacteria  from 2 sources and both formed 
clumps on culture in LB-strep.  Is this normal for LBA4404?  I did not get 
this effect with AGL1 in LB-kan.  I am new to this field and am not familiar 
with agrobacteria.
