thermophilic osmophiles

I am a senior biology major doing a directed study concerning the
microorganisms that may strive inside a car engine.  I would be 
interested to know if any research has been done on this subject,
or if any research has been done on a thermophilic osmophile that 
uses ethylene glycol (anti-freeze).  I would appreciate any help
I can get.  Thanks!
