ITEM #1
WORKSHOP TITLE: Food Mycology - Emphasis on Aspergillus and Penicillium
DESCRIPTION: Participants will review more than 40 species of fungi which
are significant to the food mycologist in this three day, hands-on
workshop where cultures will be examined and identification schemes will
be discussed. Extensive handout materials are included for participants.
PRESENTER: Dr. John Pitt with CSIRO, NSW, Australia

WORKSHOP TITLE: Keys to Success in Medical Mycology
DESCRIPTION: This two day workshop provides participants a hands-on
review of 120 fungal isolates including selected unusual hyaline and
dematiaceous hyphomycetes, arthroconidial fungi, and Zygomycetes. You will
be offered tips on selecting appropriate keys to assist in making accurate
identifications. Continuing education credits are provided through the
American Society for Clinical Laboratory Sciences.

Germain, B.S.
