Streptococcus zooepidemicus and capsule

I want to know if there is a rapid detection method to identify S. 
zooepidemicus and the presence of abscence of hyaluronic capsule from a 
nasopharyngeal swab in horses.  I could use any info on capsule detection.  
Also, for extra credit, how would you swab the tonsil of a live horse.  From 
my literature search it can't be done.
