K+ and stress response

Hi!
I would greatly appreciate any information regarding cellular uptake or 
efflux of the potassium ions in response to stress. I also need some info 
on concentrations of K+ in cell nucleus and cytoplasm. It would be of 
great help if anybody could give me relevant references.
