We are trying to isolate genomic DNA from Clostridium difficile isolates and are having trouble lysing them. We are treating with Lysozyme (50 mg/ml) for 30" and our lysing agent is Guanidium-EDTA-Sarkosyl. Anyone have any ideas? -- Tracey Ann Ristow Lozano Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.
