spirillum bacteria

Hi!
	Try Rhodospirillum rubrum, a large G- spiral form.  We use it in 
our microbiology 201 class.  It is easily cultured, nonpathogenic, and 
easily viewed at 400 X.  You can order from Carolina Biological or ATCC.
