Dear Paul,

I guess you can prove the presence of the endospore by
take the culture and boil it at 100'C.  Endospore will
survive such treatment.

Also you can do simple stain on the old culture, endospore
will show up as a "clear zone" inside the cell.  Also you
can do the malachite green spore stain.
