We have had disagreements where I work for the best way to isolate and identify Pseudomonas from bottled water. We currently use PIA (Pseudomonas Isolation Agar) then we confirm colonies on cetrimide. Other types of bacteria grow on PIA, what would be the best media to use and the best and fastest way to ID the Pseudomonas?? Please e-mail me with answers---thanks!!
