Microbiological Swabbing Technique--Need Info

Hi,

My company is currently using LightningTM for checking level of
cleanliness of manufacturing and production equipment after cleansing
and sanitization.  It is extremely quick--within 15 seconds, you get
your results.  But it is VERY expensive--$2.50 per swab!!!

A colleague recommended TSP swabbing which is more cost effective
~$0.50!!!  But the turnaround time is 72 hours.

Anyone familiar with these techniques or any other--please lend a
helping hand.  Your input would be very valuable in helping us find the
right technique to use.
