cleaning waste with bugs

I am working on biological waste water treatment and I am  very interested in the
application of specialized bacterial cultures for specific type of waste treatment,
like wastewater containing oils, colored materials, phenols etc.
I am also interested in bacteria that can operate in saline environment, and clean
waste carried in sea water ( refineries etc. )
Any information on literature or commercially available products  would be greatly
appreciated.
