According to Schachman's book, Ultracentrifugation in Biochemistry,
the sedimentation coefficient is:

s = dx/dt/(w^2x)

and has the units cm/sec/dyne/g or sec.

Sedimentation coefficients are reported in units of svedburgs (S)
where 1S = 10^-13 sec.
