UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH OPPORUNITY 
for Minorities

Several paid research positions are available to minority 
undergraduates during Summer 1998 as part of our NSF Training 
Grant on the Genetic Mechanisms of Evolution and the UO Institute 
of Molecular Biology. Qualified applicants must be U.S. citizens 
or permanent residents, and will participate in ongoing biological 
research at the University of Oregon on topics involving evolution, 
genetics, development, molecular biology, population and conservation 
biology. To apply, send letter of application, transcript, resume 
including statement of interests, and two letters of recommendation
