I'm not an specialist in industrial microbiology, and I'm sure that different
countries must have different guide lines to what the limits are but I would
say that the prescience of certain bacteria (Vibrio, Salmonella, E coli ...),
regardless of their count, indicates that the sample needs further treatment.
