Yet another conspiracy

Let's assume for the sake of argument that the thesis of this piece were
true: that an un-Godly coalition of government leaders, medical leaders,
and others had tainted the drug supply with an infectious agent to kill
gays and dope fiends.  Why would they pick such a SLOW acting agent that
can spread outside of its target group?  Why not use a fast acting agent
that quickly eradicates these 'undesirables' from society and scares the
rest into hiding?  That would be way more 'effective' and safer to the
non-target population.

Conspiracies function by mixing half-truths and bad information with
outright lies.  This piece, like the others in this series, is a perfect
example of that phenomenon.
