Looking for info re recent news item--new class of antibiotics

A few weeks ago a t.v. news item about a professor in Minnesota who was
analyzing a new class of antibiotics found from soil bacteria
(Streptomyces?). It was touted as a new form of antibiotic strategy.  Does
anyone know his name?
