Post-doctoral positions in Cryptococcus neoformans at Duke

Applications are invited for two post-doctoral positions at Duke as part of
a recently funded proposal. The work involves the genetic identification
of novel antifungal drug targets in C. neoformans. Applicants should have
a Ph.D. and ideally should have experience in yeast/fungal genetics and/or
molecular biology.

The position is located in the Dept. of Microbiology at Duke University
Medical Center (DUMC). DUMC has a large concentration of people working on
fungal pathogenesis and, specifically, C. neoformans. This provides an
excellent opportunity for entering the fields of medical mycology, fungal
pathogenesis, and antifungal drug development.
