Pepstatine

[T. Volm]

I have been looking for information on the biosynthesis of pepstatin and
have not been able to find much information. I am assuming that statine is
a post-translational modification of the peptide. I am wondering if anyone
has worked out the enzymatic pathway?

I appreciate any references or contacts.
