While I'm not really INTO the field of DNA computers I do know a bit about
them. Recently a company called Nanotronics filed a patent (W0 98/28320)
with the University of California.
The 'computer' works by very small devices being coated with a predetermined
DNA sequence. The silicon chip then acts like a substrate and is coated with
the complementary DNA seq.
This brings the device and the substrate together to interact.
Hope this info was of some use.
