IDG is a UK biosciences group and a leading developer and supplier of high
quality microbiological testing and quality assurance products and services
world-wide. We are about to embark on an aggressive expansion programme and
require a number of committed individuals with the necessary drive to ensure
we achieve our targets.

Technical Support Specialist        Ref:PS1
Based in the IDG head office in Bury, you will provide confident technical
support for our range of microbiology products to customers, distributors
and sales representatives, helping to maximise the return from our sales
efforts. UK and overseas travel is an essential part of this position. You
will be degree qualified or equivalent with at least 2 years practical
experience.

Technical Sales Representative       Ref:TR1
You will relish the challenge of selling our microbiology products to food
and industrial laboratory professionals in the North West, ensuring you
provide appropriate solutions to customers and maximising the profit
generated by your territory. You will be degree qualified or equivalent with
at least 2 years practical experience.

Export Regional Manager       Ref: PP1
You will have responsibility for Middle East, Africa and some Asian
territories. Managing and identifying distributors and dealing with direct
tender business, you will maximise the opportunities for the group in these
important and growing regions. A proven track record in sales is essential,
but not necessarily in export markets.

Microbiology Laboratory Manager      Ref: LB1
Based at our food testing laboratory in Preston you will be responsible for
day-to-day running of a busy commercial laboratory to recognised standards
and all that this involves. You will be degree qualified or equivalent with
at least 5 years practical experience in a food microbiology laboratory.

Food Microbiologist        Ref: LB2
Based at our food testing laboratory in Preston you will be responsible for
performing microbiology analyses and leading a team of technicians. You will
be degree qualified or equivalent with at least 2 years practical experience
in a food, public health or similar microbiology laboratory.

Laboratory Technician        Ref:LB3
Based at our food testing laboratory in Preston you will be performing tests
to a busy schedule and to flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
You will be educated to GCSE level in an appropriate science and capable of
working with care and accuracy.
