POSTDOCTORAL POSITION TO STUDY GENE REGULATION IN YEAST
A Postdoctoral position to study gene regulation in yeast is available
in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Penn State
University. The projects are aimed at understanding the role of the
TBP-associated factors (TAFs) and chromatin in the regulation of cell
cycle-regulated and DNA damage-inducible genes. (Nature 371:523; ibid.
383:185-188; Cell 90:607, ibid Cell 94:45). The highly motivated
applicant should have an interest in gene regulation and have experience
in molecular biology, biochemistry or yeast genetics. PSU has an
exceptional group of investigators studying gene regulation in yeast and
Applicants should send a CV, description of research interests and
experience and the names and addresses of three references to: Dr.
Joseph Reese, Dept. of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, 203 Althouse
