Help-Efficiency of Plating-Virus

Im not a microbiologist/virologist so pardon me for my ignorance...I'm
using Enterococcus faecium as a host for producing  bacteriaphage.   I
understand there is a method for determining the efficiency for various
strains to produce phage.  From what I understand efficiency of plating is
different than plaque forming units and is measuring the % of virions that
causes plaque for a particular stain.  Is there such a method out there?
How can i get a hold of one?
