Hi again,

 sorry... It is indeed quite likely that potatoes are not biting each 
other in muddy waters  ;^)  Did the BBC program tell what crocodiline et 
al. is (chemically) made of?

ps. Annual Meeting of the Am. Society for Microbiology: 
    "an extract made from potato peel prevents adhesion of bacteria to 
    host cells, which researchers suggest is a strategy that should be 
    studied as an alternative to traditional antibiotics"
