Creating recA- mutant of a K-12 Strain (JM83)

hi newgroup,
I need a protocol of how to make a recA- or recA1 mutant starting with
JM83. If some could make the vector(s) for transposon mutagenese (that
are properably need for such an experiment) available, would make me
extremly happy. Since I am a proteinchemist, I am looking for the most
simple protocol :-)
