Judy and other Bionet.microbiology readers,

It is also the intent of bionet.microbiology to be for serious
bioscientists, as is all the BIOSCI/bionet news hierarchy. See the
group charter at
http://www.bio.net/bionet/mm/microbio/

While the Usenet side of this group is still unmoderated, the mailing
list side
with 250 subscribers is moderated. Note that the prior off-topic
post and your reply to it did not reach the mail readership nor the
archives (e.g. http://www.bio.net/bionet/mm/microbio/2007-March/)

For the interim, Bionet administration moderates this group, until
microbiologist moderators join this effort. Would you or other
scientists reading this group be willing to help with moderation?

It is my intent to turn this group and remaining Usenet-unmoderated
Bionet groups to moderation status, given approval by the scientist
readership.
