RAPD

Strange things started happening in this lab when RAPD analysis entered.
Promising at first, I find it hard now to manipulate single RAPD 
fragments. Can they be cloned> Can they reproducibly be generated
by any lot# of Taq polymerase? So far I have had no succes in any
cloning procedure including T4, Klenow and kinase treatment.
Recognize some of these problems? Suggestions? Like to hear them.
