Memetics theory?

A fellow named Nicholas Sleigh recently wrote a dissertation on this
very subject in the Dept. of Philosophy at the Univ. of British Columbia.
I think that he has published a couple of books spinning off of this
work, in the past 2-3 years.  Copies of UBC thesis are sent to
the National Library, Ottowa and to the commercial service in Michigan
that publishes those little thesis books.
