Treeing partial sequences

          I agree with Joe Felsenstein that parsimony can accommodate
          missing data.  If the object is to obtain a general pattern,
          this would seem to be a good approach.  Too much missing
          data, however, might create problems.  By the way, this
          approach has been used for dealing with nontrascribed
          spacers in rDNA repeats.
