Evolutions End?

while it is highly probablistic that an individual will die, it 
isn't a necessary truth that any one particular individual must die. 
death simply isn't a god-given truth. it requires explanation too, and 
preferrably an evolutionary one. fortunately medawar, williams and hamilton 
have made proposed some fairly good evolutionary explanations of dying.
however, death and extinction are two seperate matters...
