DNA Amplification

Marc,

Most people using a cloning vector, for example, blue script, pUC18/19 etc
to amplify large pieces of DNA. If you want to amplify DNA around 30-40Kb then
use cosmids. If your DNA to be amplified is very large then use a yeast 
artificial chromosome, this can accomodate very large fragments of DNA/
chromosomal material.
