Mark Siddall suggests that Mac users may be in dire straights until PAUP
is released by Sinauer.

For those people who want to keep using only Mac's and don't want to switch
over to the lovely world of unix or dos ... there is a PowerPC Macintosh
version of PHYLIP.  It is available from the Indiana University Biology
Department Archive (ftp.bio.indiana.edu) - I think in the molbio/evolve/
folder.  It's runs pretty slowly but it does run - so if you need those
trees tomorrow - this might be your best bet.
