you'll find ClustalW, as the successor to ClustalV is called,
at ftp.ebi.ac.uk, in subdir pub/software/unix; the filename
is clustalw.tar.Z. Many thanks to Des Higgins and everyone else
involved in writing/maintaining this most useful program!
