Plant Population/Evolutionary Geneticist

The Botany Department at Iowa State University seeks a plant
population/evolutionary geneticist to join the faculty at the level of
assistant professor. The Botany Department is an integrative plant biology
group with active, collaborative research in plant ecology, genetics,
physiology, molecular biology, systematics, and evolution
(http://www.public.iastate.edu/~botany.homepage.html). The successful candidate
will be expected to develop a competitive research program in an environment
committed to basic plant biology research and contribute to undergraduate and
graduate teaching.  Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, statements of
research/teaching interests and selected reprints, and have three letters of
recommendation sent to: Dr. Jonathan F. Wendel, Chair Search Committee,
Department of Botany, Iowa State University, Ames, IA 50011-1020 by December 1,
