More on Companion Cultures

I was suprised to find ajar of my morel sclerotia producing small
sporocarps after a few months of incubation in darkness . Interestingly,
the jar was contaminated with Rhizopus and Trichoderma . Subsequent
attempts to repeat the success have failed but the companion species may
well have contributed in some way. I would be interested in others doing
additional trials using what would otherwise be considered contaminants.
