itraconazole administration to a 2 year old ?

Hi everyone

A clinitian came to me today asking me what to do to a 2 year old patient 
with a systemic candidosis. What should be the best thing to do ? The 
infection is not disapearing spontaniously and it seems that a strong 
antimycotic should be used imediatly.

Does anyone know of any case of child itraconazole rejection or 
intoxication ? Is it safe to administrate this antimycotic or is there any 
other therapy recommended in these cases ?
