The literature on this subject is pretty thin on the ground, so
I'm out for some advice. We are looking at autolysis of
P.chrysogenum, in liqiud culture. We are attempting to quantify
this by image analysis and enzymological analysis, specifically
proteases and glucanases.
I'd be interested in any views on this.
p.s. If we stop it lysing, we continue the fermentation, and so
does production. (well, theoretically anyway).
