"Inept" was indeed a bad word choice, I was indeed overreacting to the
assertion  that fairy rings were the "worst example", my apologies. 

 I am glad an amateiur mycologist such as myself was able to generate such
a lively and fruitful! discussion amongst such distinguished experts in
such an important topic to the mycophagist in me.
