Anyone with any thoughts on this one: 28 year old woman, good health.
Awakens one morning after feeling very run down with a white, fungus like
patch on the center of her tongue. Unlike most cases of thrush, it only
appears in this one spot (very localized). It remains for 6 weeks and
then disappears on its own. Diagnosis is Median Rhomoidal Glossitis, a
secondary condition to Chronic Candidiasis. Her blood tests have not
disclosed anything abnormal. What further tests should be run? Any
possible diagnosis? What has caused her immune suppression?
