dear f, there are many types of media. I use around four: AB-MEA(anti-biotic malt extract agar), DFA (dog food agar), Wort, PDA (potato dextrose agar) and Oatmeal agar. Fungi Perfecti has very good media. Order from them! Sigma and Oxoid have good stuff as well. cheers, c.
