Hi, I'm aware of the ability of various species of mushrooms to form so-called "fairy rings" in pastures and other similarly, fertile soils. However, I was wondering if such a phenomenon is known to occur in less fertile, semi-arid, arid, or even desert soils. My thanks in advance. Stephen R. Berlant
