Sclerotial formation of S. rolfsii?

I am interested in communicating with persons experienced in obtaining
sclerotia from Sclerotium rolfsii. I am especially interested in
experiences causing sclerotial formation of clumps of sclerotia
(the larger the better). Example: Morchella species are reported to also
form extremely small sclerotium, but they can form clumps of these
"mini-sclerotium" as large as goft balls (reportedly). Anyone noticed
similar clumping of S. rolfsii and, if so, details of conditions
that might encourage this clumping? Thanks!
