Hi, I am looking for information which will help identify the causative
agent for producing large stem galls on Beach Pea (Lathyrus japonicus).
The gall tissue is full of golden-yellow coloured, kidney shaped,
thick-walled spores, which are 50 micrometres across. There are no
mycelium present. Any suggestions of what species this could be would
be greatly appreciated.
